Stunning images of spring captured on camera
The photographs were submitted as part of the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition and will be on display at two north Yorkshire attractions this spring. Nunnington Hall and Rievaulx Terrace, near Helmsley, will feature an exhibition showcasing winning images in the 2014 and 2015 international event.
It marks the first time a joint exhibition has been held between the two National Trust sites of Nunnington Hall and Rievaulx Terrace. Opening tomorrow, when both venues reopen for a new season, the photographs capture the magic and beauty of the natural world.

“We are the first northern host for this prestigious exhibition, as it opens in the south at Kew Gardens at the same time - it’s definitely not one to be missed.
“At Nunnington the garden really comes alive in spring as the wildflower meadows start to take shape. There’s so much to see and capture in our gardens, bring your camera when you visit and you may just snap a winning entry for next year’s competition!”
The exhibition will be at Nunnington Hall until Sunday, March 22, visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/nunnington. The display at Rievaulx Terrace opens until April 19.
