Suspected illegal migrants held in nursing home raid
Eleven suspected illegal immigrants have been detained after a raid at a nursing home, the UK Border Agency (UKBA) said yesterday.
Officers from Hampshire Police, assisted by the UKBA, targeted the Linford Park Nursing Home in Ringwood, Hampshire, yesterday after concerns were raised about care of a resident at the centre.
A total of three people were arrested at the nursing home, with a further 11 detained on suspicion of immigration offences.

Hide AdA UKBA spokesman said: "The operation was intelligence-led and targeted immigration offenders working illegally at the home."
A Hampshire Police spokeswoman said: "The public protection unit are now investigating the matter. Three people were arrested and remain in custody."
