The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was brought before Rotherham magistrates after two robberies in the town centre last autumn.

A 17 year old victim had his Samsung phone stolen after being punched in the stomach as he walked through the car park of Tesco Extra, near to St Anne’s Roundabout, at about 5:30pm on Sunday September 27.
