Thieves take five lorryloads of vodka

Police yesterday were looking for thieves who took five lorry-loads of vodka from warehouse at Warrington, Cheshire.

The masked gang attacked a security guard with a knife early on Saturday. He was tied up as the gang used five curtain-sided heavy lorries to empty the warehouse of its contents – all 1.5 or one litres bottles, including those with the brand names Royal Czar, Imperial and Moskova. The guard was shaken but not seriously hurt.
