Traffic alert: Delays after lorry flips in high wind on Woodhead Pass

Motorists are being warned to expect long delays on Woodhead Pass tonight after a lorry pulling a trailer flipped high wind.

Part of the A628 was closed for recovery work, and while police say it has now reopened, delays persist between Barnsley and Manchester.

Slow traffic is reported in both directions between Flouch roundabout in Langsett and the Gun Inn Traffic Lights in Mottram in Longdendale.
