Traffic headaches for motorists after accident on key Yorkshire commuter route
Drivers were facing traffic delays this morning on one of the busiest road routes in West Yorkshire.
A multi-vehicle accident was reported to have closed one lane of the A1 northbound between Barnsdale Bar and Wentbridge, south of Pontefract.
Motorists were said to be facing “queuing traffic and long delays” as a result of the incident.
All lanes are now believed to have reopened.
