TRAFFIC: Motorway delays due to broken down vehicle

Drivers are being warned of delays on the M1 this afternoon due to a broken down vehicle.

The entry slip road of the M1 southbound at Junction 42 for the M62 (Lofthouse) is currently closed.

The closure is due to a broken down vehicle, and the issue is having knock-on effects along the motorway.

Motorists are warned to take care and avoid the area if possible.
