A19M closure: A19M closed near Northallerton in North Yorkshire due to vehicle fire

National Highways confirmed the road is closed between the A684 at Ellerbeck and the A172 at Cleveland Tontine.

A spokesman said: “The A19 in North Yorkshire is closed northbound between the A684 (Ellerbeck) and the A172 (Cleveland Tontine) due to a vehicle fire.

“Emergency services including North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue are in attendance. National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene assisting with traffic management.”
