Air ambulance lands on M62 after woman falls from bridge

Both carriageways around junction 26 of the motorway, near Cleckheaton, are currently closed while emergency services attend the incident.

Police said they were called at 10.17am this morning to reports that someone had fallen from the bridge.

A spokesman said significant delays are expected with the closure of the motorway and he could not say when it would re-open.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.

The condition of the woman is not yet known.
