Crash closes A1 in West Yorkshire
THE A1 in West Yorkshire has been closed following an accident.
Police said there was a serious collision on the southbound side, where the motorway meets junction 23 with the M62.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “This is an going incident and the carriageway is currently closed.
“It is thought it involves only one vehicle and one person is injured.
“The north bound carriageway is also likely to be closed to allow the air ambulance to land.”
