M1 closed between A61 Barnsley and A616 Tankersley due to large lorry fire
The M1 is closed in Yorkshire due to a large lorry fire.
National Highways confirmed that the M1 is closed north between the A616 at Tankersley and the A61 at Barnsley.
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service and South Yorkshire Police are in attendance.
National Highways confirmed at 4.50pm that the road is now open and only one lane remains closed.
It has warned that drivers can expect delays of an hour.
