A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which left a man with injuries.

“It happened yesterday at 7.45am at the junction of Dawnay Road and Tamar Street in the Little Horton area of Bradford.

“A disagreement between a car driver and a lorry driver led to the lorry driver receiving injuries and being taken to hospital for treatment.”

The spokeswoman said the suspect is described as an Asian man, 20-30 years old, and about 5ft 9in. He was driving a dark-coloured car similar to a Ford Focus.

She said it is believed he may be from the local area.
