Trapped driver rescued from flood in North Yorkshire
Fire crews helped rescue a van driver who got stuck in a flood this morning.
Water had started to seep into the footwell of his vehicle after it became stuck on Boroughbridge Road at Bishop Monckton just before 6am.
Crews from Ripon, Richmond and Boroughbridge attended and managed to approach the vehicle and push it to safety out of the water allowing the driver to get out safely.
