Twins take As at the double
The 16-year-olds, from Thorne, plan to stay on at the school to study history, combined English, French and religious studies. Kirstie said: "I nearly fainted, I was so gobsmacked when I got my results. I did work hard, but I wasn't expecting to have done so well."
Other high-flyers from Trinity, the first purpose-built academy school in the region, included straight A student Owen Taylor, who gained 11 grade As and one A*, and 16-year-old Jessica Foreshaw from Moorends, who achieved five A*s in English, art, history, business studies and English literature.
