Two arrests after pharmaceutical van robbed in Hull

Two men have been arrested after a pharmaceutical delivery van was hijacked in Hull.

The robbery took place outside a pharmacy on Goodwin Parade in at 2.45pm today.

The culprits threatened the driver as they stole the van - but police tracked the vehicle and stopped it within half an hour.

Two men were arrested in Hessle Road, Hull, this afternoon on suspicion of robbery.

They have been taken into custody and are waiting to be questioned.

It is believed the vehicle contained prescription and controlled medication, Humberside Police said.
