A TEENAGER and a 63-year-old man have been charged in relation to the murder of Joy Billiam, whose body was found in her purple Ford Fiesta in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire at the weekend.

Mrs Billiam, from Garden Street in Goldthorpe, died from strangulation on Friday, September 30. The 46-year-old’s body was discovered in her car, which was parked in Doncaster Road, on the edge of the pit village.

Raymond Billiam, 63, from Guildford Road in Wheatley Park, Doncaster, has been charged with Mrs Billiam’s murder. He and a 16-year-old boy, who is charged with assisting an offender, appeared before magistrates in Barnsley yesterday.
