Alice’s parents devastated as body confirmed

Despite identifying Arnis Zalkans as someone they want to talk to in connection with the disappearance of Alice Gross, detectives have yet to apply for a European Arrest Warrant to ensure he is detained should he be spotted on the continent.

Experts say that the level of evidence needed to secure an EAW is very high and a successful application would be unlikely to succeed based on the information that has so far been made public.
