Appeal to find missing 17-year-old girl

POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to find a girl who has not been since this afternoon.

Danielle Reynolds who lives in the Holgate area of York was last seen at a bus stop near Archbishop Holgate’s School at around 4.50pm today.

The 17-year-old did not get on the bus, nor did she arrive home when expected, North Yorkshire Police said tonight.

Officers say they are now becoming very concerned for Danielle’s welfare and are appealing to anyone who has seen a girl matching Danielle’s description or knows of her current whereabouts, to contact them urgently.

She is described as white, 4ft 10in tall with dark curly hair and walks with the aid of two crutches.

She was wearing distinctive clothing including a long, green coat with fur around the hood, pink Doctor Marten boots, blue jeans and was carrying a blue “Animal” branded rucksack.

Anyone who has any information about Danielle or knows where she is now, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
