Dancer one jump ahead of the boys

IT may be ballet but there’s not a swan in sight.

Instead Kamille Upshaw, the only female performer in Rasta Thomas’s company Bad Boys of Dance, shows the heights she and her fellow dancers will hit as they take to the stage in Rock the Ballet at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival.

The New York company’s blend of classical and contemporary dance with daring acrobatics and tongue in cheek choreography is set to a stellar range of hits by stars including Michael Jackson, Prince, Queen, and the Black Eye Peas.
