Take That gig axed as Robbie ill
ROBBIE Williams tweeted his thanks for “get well soon” messages from fans after the singer was taken ill ahead of a performance in Denmark, forcing Take That to cancel a show for the first time ever.
The singer was violently sick with suspected food poisoning on Friday night and doctors said he was not fit to perform at the gig in Copenhagen on Saturday.
Yesterday, posting a photo of himself with a drip, he said: “Thank you for your messages and love... I’m not completely out of the woods yet, but feeling much better.”
And he added: “feeling dreadful for letting the fans down... I’m so, so sorry”.
