Top bands fly flag for Yorkshire in festival showcase

The Creamfields dance music festival ended a day early after torrential rain caused “heavy flooding”.

The festival site at Daresbury in Cheshire has been closed and revellers told to leave the site after the heavy downpours flooded the area, police said.

Deadmau5, Tiesto and Groove Armada were among the acts that had been due to play yesterday.
