Unconscious man robbed in Hull

A man was robbed of his mobile phone and wallet whilst he was lying unconscious after being assaulted in the street.

Officers at Humberside Police are appealing for information about the robbery which occurred on Ellerburn Avenue in Hull at around 8.30pm on Friday (August 5).

The 29-year-old was sitting on a wall when a group of young men approached him and assaulted him. The incident left him unconscious and when he came round, he discovered that his Samsung Galaxy A5 and wallet had been taken.

The victim suffered cuts and swelling to right side of his face and cuts and grazes to his hands, and needed treatment for his injuries at Hull Royal Infirmary.

Witnessed are asked to call the force on 101 quoting log 612 of August 5 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
