Uninsured drivers caught in city sting
Twenty-three uninsured vehicles were taken off the road during a clampdown in Bradford.
Police arrested 11 people during a day-long operation on Thursday for offences including possession of Class B drugs and taking a vehicle without consent.
More than 4,250 was recovered from unpaid fines and 43 fixed penalty notices were issued – mainly for no seatbelts, mobile phone use and no MOT.
Sixteen taxis were checked and five suspension notices given.
