Video: Raking in NSPCC cash on Filey beach

As tourists took to the Filey beach to harness the cooling sea breeze British sand artist Jamie Wardley grabbed his rake and got to work.

The 34-year-old created six giant 3D footprints on the beautiful sprawling sands on Wednesday.

As the mercury rose Jamie worked up a sweat - sprinting along to take just six minutes to carve out each footprint for the NSPCC.

The six imprints represent the one sixth of the NSPCC’s funding that comes from gifts in wills.

The NSPCC are hoping they will to inspire the nation to leave a lasting legacy for children.

A spokesperson from NSPCC said: “Currently, one pound in every six we receive comes in the form of a legacy gift, and these kind donations have a huge impact on our ability to give more children the safety they so urgently need. “
