Video - Scots chippy has unveiled a special treat for American visitors in time for Thanksgiving – deep-fried Twinkies
Philadelphia chip shop, in Glasgow’s west end, started deep frying the American sponge and cream-filled snack earlier this week.
Head fryer and manager of the chip shop, Brian McLellan, said he was pleasantly surprised at the results. He said: “It was just an idea that came about due to the fact Thanksgiving was coming up. “It’s something different as opposed to a deep-fried Mars bar.
