Vote 2010: The Yorkshire Post video debates

ALL three party leaders have now faced audiences of Yorkshire Post readers in Leeds. Watch the debates in full, here.

David Cameron was the first to submit to an hour of questions from readers. He pledged to reverse Labour's tax on holiday homes and said the Government was "cutting off its nose to spite its face" by forcing through the measure next month. The move threatens 4,500 jobs and research suggests it will cost the economy 200m.

Nick Clegg, facing readers at the Yorkshire Post's HQ, said cutting public sector jobs in the wrong way could plunge the country into political and social chaos akin to the mass strikes and riots seen recently in Greece.

Gordon Brown, whose event was covered live on TV, warned that unemployment – which has fallen for the past three months – "may not continue to go down" ahead of the release of figures next week.
