
The Environment Agency has published 28 flood warnings for Yorkshire overnight.
Otley in Leeds has been hit by flooding overnight, with several roads closed and impassable.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Please avoid the Otley area, especially Billams Bridge. Do not put yourself in danger or attempt to drive through flooded areas.

Flooding is expected - immediate action required
This flood warning remains in force following rainfall on Friday night (21/02/20) and Saturday morning.
The current river level at Otley is 1.75m and the level appears to be at its peak. We expect levels to fall throughout Saturday morning (22/02/20). Areas of concern are the riverside properties between Otley and Pool, and Billam's Bridge is closed. Further bands of rainfall are expected over the coming days and river levels are expected to rise and fall. Please use the GOV.UK website for current river levels and stay aware of your surroundings as river levels can rise quickly with little warning. We will continue to monitor the situation closely. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
