Woman, 59, dies after road crash
A 59-year-old woman has died in hospital after being injured in a road crash in North Yorkshire.
She was a passenger in a Renault Kangoo van that collided with a Ford Focus car on the B6525 at Skelton on Ure, near Ripon, on Thursday.
She died in Leeds General Infirmary early on Saturday. Her 60-year-old husband, who was driving the van, escaped with minor injuries.
The 62-year-old woman driving the Ford Focus was also hurt. All three lived locally.
