Woman, 83, hurt in care home leaves hospital

The 83-year-old was hurt in an incident at the privately-run Windsor Court Care Home in Goole in November.

It is not clear what the nature of her injuries was, but she was allegedly left unattended at the time.

Three female members of staff at the home in Bartholomew Avenue were arrested when the incident was reported to police and all have been released on bail until February.

They were immediately suspended by their employers HC-One. East Riding Council’s safeguarding team is supporting the investigation.
