Woman died eight days after being injured during crash in East Yorkshire

Humberside Police said this evening that the 73-year-old woman had died in Hull Royal Infirmary yesterday.

She had been a passenger in a blue Vauxhall Astra which collided with a bronze Ford Fiesta on the A1033 at Camerton, near Thornbumbald.

The drivers of the two cars suffered minor injures, police reported at the time.

Investigations are continuing into the cause of the crash, which happened at 4.25pm on June 20.
