Woman injured trapped under her car at store

A WOMAN was seriously injured after becoming trapped underneath her own car.

Fire officers and ambulance crews were called to the car park of Morrisons in Idle, Bradford, at around 7pm last night. Fire crews from Rawdon and Idle managed to free the woman, who is believed to be in her 40s.

One firefighter said the woman was unresponsive, so they began resuscitation until ambulance crews arrived to take over and she was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for further treatment.

A West Yorkshire police spokesman said two vehicles were involved in the collision and it was being treated as a serious incident involving serious injuries. Inquiries were still being made last night.
