Owners count cost after wreck of the supercars

An outing of luxury sports car enthusiasts in Japan ended in an expensive pile-up – smashing eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini and two Mercedes.

Police in Yamaguchi prefecture said they believed the accident was caused when the driver of one of the Ferraris tried to change lanes and hit a barrier.

He spun across the road and the other cars collided while trying to avoid hitting his car.
