Young film maker impresses director to land job shooting music video

college student Conor Butler is making a name for himself in the music industry as a live performance director after impressing Grammy nominated director Paul Caslin with his work. Conor, 18, impressed Caslin when the director visited Bradford College and was later invited to film rapper Plan B performing at the 02 arena in London.

After shooting the footage, for which he will receive a DVD film credit, Conor said: “I love Plan B as an artist; I listen to his music all the time, so to be able to stand in front of Plan B with a camera and capture footage for myself was just the best experience of my life.

“I worked alongside so many people that were amazing at their jobs – it was an all-round great experience. It was brilliant to have the freedom to just walk around the stage and capture whatever footage and angles I liked.

“I know now that this is what I want to do with my life.”
