Arsenal's Afobe to play against his employers for Huddersfield Town

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN have been granted permission by Arsene Wenger for loanee striker Benik Afobe to play in this Sunday's FA Cup tie at Arsenal.

The teenager has been on loan at the Galpharm Stadium since the start of November and has scored three goals in 13 outings.

Afobe has not featured in Town's last four games but has played for both the Gunners reserve side and their youth team in recent days, his continued involvement in the FA Youth Cup being part of the agreement with the north London club.

Town manager Lee Clark said: "Benik is allowed to play and he is very excited. He played for Arsenal reserves on Tuesday against Chelsea.

"He has been with them for the last week and a half recovering and played in the FA Youth Cup side last week."
