Aireborough gained a consolation point for scoring four tries through Tom Holdsworth, Johnny Mackie, Chris Bradshaw and James Kinghorn.

Wath's haul of tries gave them top place ahead of Goole, who maintained second position with a 26-5 home win over Northallerton.

Previously unbeaten Rotherham Phoenix fell back to third when they were handed a surprise 13-8 defeat at Baildon.

Baildon were the better of two poor sides. Phoenix, after turning round 10-0 down, were pressing at 10-8 when Baildon made it safe with a penalty two minutes from the end.
