Campbell and Brook united on bumper Hull bill
Brook was supposed to face IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander this weekend, but the bout was postponed for a third time last month after the Sheffield fighter suffered a foot injury, with Matchroom Promotions stablemate Lee Purdy stepping into the breach.
And Matchroom today confirmed Brook would end a nine-month absence from the ring at Craven Park in Hull on July 13 against Jones, who suffered a razor-thin majority decision defeat when the pair first met at the Motorpoint Arena in July last year.

Hide AdBrook (29-0, with 19 knockout wins) admitted he was off-colour in his home town against the veteran American, who boasts a record of 35 wins, nine defeats and three draws, and will now have the opportunity to make a statement ahead of another probable tilt at a world crown.
Campbell confirmed his switch from amateur to the paid ranks last month, joining Eddie Hearn’s promotions company, and he will top the bill in his eagerly-awaited professional debut against an as yet unnamed opponent.
Campbell was one of the success stories in amateur boxing after his triumph in the bantamweight division at London 2012, beating Ireland’s John Joe Nevin in the final.
He was awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List.
“This is going to be a special night for Hull and a massive night for British boxing,” said Hearn.
