Brook makes the fourth defence of his IBF World Welterweight title at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane ground on May 27.

He takes on the unbeaten American Errol Spence, nicknamed ‘The Truth.’

Brook may be coming into the fight off the back of a first-ever loss in the pro ranks after stepping up to face middleweight king Gennady Golovkin last September.

But he is keen to get back to winning ways and can think of no better place to do so than the home of his beloved Blades.

Speaking at a press conference in the Steel City to promote the fight, Brook said: “The only truth in this fight is that Errol is going to get beat. When I was six, my uncle said to me that one day I will fight here for a world title.

“I’m overwhelmed to get this fight across the line and so happy. For me, it’s a dream come true. It’s long been a dream of mine to fight outdoors at Bramall Lane, and I’m pleased to do that in the biggest fight in the welterweight division.”

Following the Golovkin fight, Brook says he has learned lessons from the loss.

He added: “I was gutted because the fight got stopped.

“I believe I gave it my all and I learnt a lot from it. Nobody’s seen the real Kell Brook and this is my time. I’m like a beast in the ring.”
