Bradford City v Darlington: Taylor wants City players to feel at home

League two: PETER TAYLOR insists today is more about Bradford City being brave in front of their own fans than his debut in the home dugout.

The Bantams have not won at Valley Parade since October and ahead of his first home game in charge, Taylor, who could hand a debut to Mark McCammon, said: "I am looking forward to it, but I want the players to look forward to it more.

"They have to be brave in front of our home crowd – even if things don't work out straight away. Hopefully, the confidence from our win at Rochdale will help as it showed what a good side we can be.

"The young lads were brave on the ball, while the older lads really kicked on. It was an incredible difference from the defeat at Accrington."

Gavin Grant, 26, joined City yesterday on a non-contract basis, having played for Taylor at Wycombe and Stevenage.
