Manager Gary Megson is delighted with Buxton, who has shown versatility as the club have notched back-to-back victories over Colchester United and Tranmere Rovers.
“Obviously, I’ve been pleased with the last couple of results and I’ve played centre-back, right-back and left-back,” said Buxton, who is out of contract in the summer. “Sometimes it is difficult. It’s not easy to keep switching positions but I think I’ve done okay.”

Hide AdThe Owls visit League One leaders Brighton and Hove Albion today seeking to record a first league double of the season.
The Seagulls were beaten 1-0 at Hillsborough during the first few weeks of the season but are the form team in the division, having won eight in a row prior to last weekend’s draw with Rochdale.
“Brighton have been the team to catch but we have beaten them once and there’s no reason why we can’t beat them again,” insisted Buxton.
