Champions fall

Runners-up Old Rishworthian secured a narrow 26-25 victory over champions Roundhegians after battling back from a half-time deficit.

Roundhegians led 22-11 at the break but Old Rishworthian won thanks to tries from centre Joe Billing, flanker Gerrard Rollins and winger Anthony Shoesmith. Jamie Bloem kicked a conversion and three penalties.

The league champions led after two tries from stand-off Chris Pratt and one from winger Adrian Hogg but conceded two late tries to throw away the win and concede their first league defeat of the season.
