Cricket latest: Yorkshire steamroller Durham

SOUTH AFRICAN Herschelle Gibbs and captain Andrew Gale sent Yorkshire Carnegie storming to their first Friends Provident Twenty20 win of the season with a crushing nine-wicket victory over Durham Dynamos at Headingley.

The second-wicket pair dashed up an unbeaten 137 together in only 11.5 overs as Yorkshire chased down their 157 target with four overs to spare.

Gale finished on 60 off 42 balls with five fours and three sixes while Gibbs blasted 76 from 39 deliveries with seven fours and four sixes.
