All eyes are on Pudsey as pair set to do battle - JCT 600 BRADFORD

There wasn't a single ball bowled as rain washed out the entire JCT 600 Bradford League programme. It was the first complete washout since September 2008.

It means that Division One leaders Pudsey St Lawrence hold an 11-point advantage going into today's away game with Pudsey Congs.

Matches between the two are always keenly contested and this will be no exception as St Lawrence strive to maintain their grip on top spot against a Congs side currently occupying fifth place.

Two teams who will be hoping that St Lawrence slip up are Woodlands and Undercliffe.

Woodlands visit Farsley while Undercliffe face basement boys Bankfoot looking for a fifth win in six games.

Former Yorkshire batsman Ashley Metcalfe has flourished since joining Undercliffe from Farsley and he needs just 44 runs to become only the third batsman to make 15,000 Bradford League runs. His Undercliffe colleague Mark Gilliver and Keighley's Richard Robinson reached the landmark last season.
