Jonny Booth (62) top scored in Townville’s 200-8 and they had Batley struggling at 76-5 but Adnan Mahmood (37no), Imran Mahboob (44) and 48no from Mohammed Bhoola, including 10 off the final over, clinched victory.

Kris Ward (60) and Toby Booth (70) helped Cleckheaton to 206-7 but Charles Davy (75no) led Bradford & Bingley’s successful chase.

Archie Scott (5-31) helped dismiss Morley for 153 to set up victory for Pudsey St Lawrence, Mark Robertshaw (69no) leading the way, while a 5-28 spell from Lewis Lomax saw Wrenthorpe skittled for 85, Steve Bullen (51no) steering New Farnley home.

William Wade (85) and Joe Dale (86) put on 123 in Acomb’s 232-5 but Stamford Bridge came out on top of the Yorkshire North game thanks to a century from Ryan Gibson and unbeaten 51 from Dominic Rhodes.

There was a century opening stand between Alec Drury (66) and Noah Kelly (53) in Driffield’s 209-6 which proved far too good for Clifton Alliance.

Adam Sutcliffe (72) and George Drury (51) combined to help Dunnington to 194-6 and Harrogate fell nine short despite 71 from Harry Allinson.

Half-centuries from Finlay Bean and Alex Lilley were the highlight of York’s 243-4 and even though Chris Bilton (72) and Henry Wilson (53) led a spirited response, Woodhouse Grange also went down by nine runs.

David Wainwright (72no) top scored in Castleford’s 173-8 but Mark Fisher (49no) and Robert Stevens (42) helped Sheriff Hutton Bridge home by five wickets.

In Yorkshire South, James Stuart smashed 15 fours and five sixes in making 137 and put on 160 with Bilal Anjam (63) in Doncaster’s 248-5. Stuart (3-24) and Anjam (3-16) then teamed up with Robert Heyes (3-25) to bowl out Tickhill for 126.

Alex Grimes (56) was top scorer in Appleby Frodingham’s 225-6 and even though Sam Shaw (70) and Hasnat Yousaf (42) gave Elsecar a solid start, they still fell 15 runs short.

Shaaiq Choudhry followed up a three-wicket spell with top score 42 as Sheffield Collegiate beat Whitley Hall while Alex Morris’s 68 was the highlight of Cawthorne’s win at Wakefield Thornes.

Nick Dymock (76no) steered Hallam past Barnsley’s 143-8 while Treeton’s 207, including 49 from Sam Drury, proved too good for Wickersley.

There was some big hitting in the Huddersfield League led by Matthew Henshaw, who included 11 sixes in his quickfire 115 as Almondbury Wesleyans beat Rastrick. Imran Malik lifted 10 sixes in an unbeaten 108 and took Marsden to a last-ball victory at Mirfield PC.

Shabir Rashid (102no) starred as Hoylandswaine crushed Holmfirth and Sayed Salman hit 117 not out in Lepton’s high-scoring win at Denby for whom George Davis scored 74 not out.
