Aston hammered 92 and snapped up 5-26 as Scarcroft beat Leeds Police by 105 runs to increase their lead to six points with their fifth straight league victory.

Champions Old Modernians climbed to second with a 69-run win over previously unbeaten Shadwell, who were routed for 122 by Stuart Borrill (6-35).

Steve Zwolinsky (50) steered St Chad's to their third successive win at bottom side East Keswick.

Jarrod Martignago's battling 62 was in vain for Spofforth whose slide continued with a 38-run defeat at Barwick in Elmet, for whom Jamie Swales hit an unbeaten 41 and claimed 3-42.

Mark Mosby (71) and Lee Russell (60no) led the way as Great Preston overhauled Walton's 253-8 that included 75 not out from all-rounder Dennis Rock.
