Wrenthorpe are on course for double

Captain Gary Fellows steered Central Yorkshire League Premier Division leaders Wrenthorpe through to the Jack Hampshire Trophy quarter-finals.

Former Yorkshire all-rounder Fellows snapped up 6-16 and hit an unbeaten 49 as Wrenthorpe coasted to a nine-wicket victory against Division One outfit Caribbean.

Other second-round ties were decimated by rain. Wakefield Thornes posted 215-9 at Carlton, Birstall reached 155-8 at Hunslet Nelson and Methley made 134-6 from 29 overs at Wakefield St Michael's before play was washed out.
