representative, but, as he revealed in a sworn affidavit to a Jersey court last May, does not have any shares in the company.

The League are now satisfied Leeds comply with all regulations, though supporters remain in the dark as to who owns the club due to no details being made public.

A League spokesman said: "The Football League has concluded its enquiries regarding Leeds United's Fit and Proper Persons Test documentation and has addressed the issues raised with the club.

"Following further information from Leeds, the League is now satisfied that the club is compliant with Football League regulations in this area.

"Additionally, all Football League clubs have been reminded of their obligations under the Fit and Proper Persons Test regulations."

Leeds last night declined to add to the League's statement when

contacted by the Yorkshire Post.

Under League rules, club directors, anyone owning 30 per cent or more of its shares, or anyone "who exercises direct or indirect control over the affairs of the club" must declare themselves to the League and be passed as a fit and proper person.

Meanwhile, United have sent to the Football Association and Football League unseen video footage of the pitch invasion at Carlisle United on Tuesday night that manager Simon Grayson claims resulted in three of his players being attacked.

The Cumbrians booked their trip to Wembley for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final courtesy of a dramatic 6-5 penalty shoot-out victory that prompted hundreds of home fans to rush on to the field.

The trio of Leeds players were then allegedly attacked by the interlopers.

Leeds, after analysing Sky Sports footage of the aftermath to a game the visitors won 3-2 to tie the Northern Area final at 4-4 on aggregate, lodged an official complaint on Wednesday.

Yesterday, they forwarded the video evidence, which shows Shane Lowry and Robert Snodgrass being confronted by home supporters, to both the FA and the League. The club have not revealed the identity of the third player claiming to have been pushed or punched.

The players involved will not be pressing charges against the Carlisle supporters, though Leeds have called on Cumbria Police to identify those involved and then take action.

A United statement read: "Further to the pitch invasion at the end of the penalty shoot-out at Carlisle on Tuesday, the Leeds United players involved are not going to ask for charges to be brought against the Carlisle supporters involved.

"The club is to forward the evidence at its disposal to both the Football Association and the Football League in relation to the matter so they can consider what action, if any, is required."
