Roundhegians maintained their advantage at the top with a 23-3 home victory over Bramley Phoenix, while second-placed Old Rishworthians won 29-9 at home to Old Modernians.

Nathan Lowis, Chris Pratt, Jonny Dobson and Chris Clarkson touched down for Roundhegians, while for Rishworthian winger Anthony Shoesmith scored two tries, with others coming from Gary Morris, Arron Canning and Jioti Bakoso.

Thorne got back on track with a 45-12 home win over Old Otliensians and are within one point of third-placed Bramley.

James Fenwick, in his first game back after four weeks out with a shoulder injury, scored two tries for Thorne, and winger Brett Hunt ran in a hat-trick.

Full-back Martin Taylor also touched down twice and Tony Chappell, also back from injury, converted five out of the seven.

Wath had a 34-6 home victory over Garforth, forward Huw Jones scoring two second-half tries.
