Bradford City and Huddersfield Town players make welcome return to Yorkshire Post Team of the Week

Here’s our latest XI in 4-4-2 formation:
Goalkeeper
Brad Collins (Barnsley)

A steady and reassuring presence at Ashton Gate and was decisive in his duties as Barnsley signed off a fine week with another victory.
Defence
Aaron Rowe (Huddersfield Town)
Carried on from where he left off at Boro with another dynamic display and played a big part in two Town goals on a bountiful day against Swansea. A real talent.

Liam Cooper (Leeds United)

Hide AdHow he did not score at Wolves is anyone’s guess after latching onto three set-pieces from Raphinha. Solid at the back in his defensive duties and marshalled the backline well and distributed intelligently.
Niall Canavan (Bradford City)
Looks a very shrewd signing with the one-time City ball-boy delivering a commanding performance in well-organised Bantams backline who shone at Cheltenham.

Dael Fry (Middlesbrough)
It was easy to see where Neil Warnock rates him so highly at Reading. Kept Lucas Joao under lock and key and helped set up Boro’s opener. A powerhouse display from a key Boro player.
Midfield
Duane Holmes (Huddersfield Town)

Seven days on from Wycombe, Holmes had a day to savour and caused Swansea all manner of problems. Scored two outstanding goals, with his second being simply stunning.
Sam Morsy (Middlesbrough)

Callum Cooke (Bradford City)
At the heartbeat of another vibrant City performance and set up both their goals at Cheltenham. Another fine contribution.
James Coppinger (Doncaster Rovers)

What can you say…
The script was written for ‘Copps’ on the day Rovers wore the all-gold kit that he and his sons designed. Another glorious moment in his Keepmoat career was provided by virtue of a wonderful late leveller.
Forwards
Mallik Wilks (Hull City)
Eventful day for the Tigers striker, who scored two clinical headed goals and gave away a controversial penalty.

Hide AdA huge player for Hull and has grabbed five goals in his past two league matches. Outstanding.
Andy Cook (Bradford City)
Off and running with City after bagging two goals in their victory at Cheltenham and showed what he brings to the party as the Bantams bandwagon continues apace.
Manager/head coach: Carlos Corberan (Huddersfield Town).
Just when he needed a win, he pulled out an absolute thumper of a victory.
