Bradford City v Accrington Stanley: Bantams confident Price is right

BRADFORD CITY have extended the loan signing of Jason Price as they prepare to end their three-match losing run tonight.

The former Doncaster and Hull midfielder, 33, has played seven games since joining from Carlisle last month, impressing manager Peter Taylor who has now loaned Price until January 3.

City, meanwhile, are bolstered by the return of Northern Ireland midfielder Tom Doherty from suspension as they seek to return to winnings ways against Stanley, who are one place above Bradford and unbeaten in three.

Taylor was bemused how his dominant side somehow lost 1-0 against Macclesfield on Saturday having also fallen narrowly at Wycombe and in the FA Cup at Colchester.

But their positive performances have left him confident their results will soon turn.

"I think more importantly my players and the supporters feel that way too," said the ex-England manager. "Fans I've spoken to since Saturday have said we're going to get a good result soon because our play deserves it."

Last six games: Bradford LWWLLL, Accrington DLLWDW.
