Bradford City v Morecambe League Two - We owe fans a good display – Bullock

LEE BULLOCK admits Bradford City owe the Valley Parade faithful a performance after their Easter Monday no-show.

The Bantams are without a win in six and take on one of League Two's in-form teams tonight when Morecambe make the trip to West Yorkshire.

Sammy McIlroy's side have won five out of their last six games to move into the play-off places and will fancy their chances against a Bradford side whose last outing on home soil ended in a miserable defeat against Macclesfield Town.

After such a disappointing display, the onus is on City to improve. Bullock said: "The manager wants us to give the fans something to get excited and to shout about and we failed miserably last week. It was a very flat display and we just never got going."

Peter Taylor could again be without several key players through injury as he looks to steer his side towards a first win since Aldershot Town were beaten at Valley Parade on March 6.

Since then, Bradford have claimed three points to slip to 18th in the table.

Last six games: Bradford City LDDLLD, Morecambe WLWWWW.

Referee: C Sarginson (Staffordshire).

Last time: Bradford City 4 Morecambe 0; December 28, 2008; League Two.
